Model Kristof Baranyi from The Squadmanagement speaks to Wylde about his career highlights and how he makes the most of his spare time.

Where are you originally from, and whereabouts are you based now?

I'm from Hungary and live in Budapest.

How did you first get into modelling?

My friends always asked me “Why don’t you become a model?” and my answer was always “Are you crazy? I couldn't be a model!" I thought about it for a while and finally decided to apply to an agency, now I'm here!

What would you say has been your career highlight to date?

I'd say my career highlight was when I booked my very first show with Chanel. It was on the 2nd of December, 2015 and I was pretty surprised when I was confirmed by them. It was so good to work with a professional team and amazing to walk on their runway!

Is there anyone in particular that you aspire to work with?

I would like the opportunity to work with Karl Lagerfeld again, he's such a great designer and photographer!

What’s your favourite pastime?

I love meeting up with my friends, drinking a glass of champagne and watching the sunset at the bank of the river.

How do you unwind in your free time?

I love reading books, I'm currently reading 'The Celestine Prophecy' from James Refield, but for umpteenth time.

Who or what inspires and motivates you?

Definitely my mom, she's such a great person and a mom as well. Whatever she decides, she goes through with.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modelling?

I would be studying photography if I wasn't a model, I love taking photos of different things and places.

What’s your favourite album at the moment?

My favourite singer is Selah Sue, I'm obsessed with her new album - worth a listen

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?

Somewhere by the beach in Spain. I love the sea, the Spanish culture, their language and the food.

What’s at the top of your bucket list of things to do?

Going on a rafting trip with my closest friends.

Tell us the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Believe in yourself.
