Wylde loves a niche brand that, while avoiding the glare of the mainstream, exudes a quiet luxury – just waiting to be discovered. And German brand Glashütte Original embodies those qualities. Its roots can be traced back to 1845; the year in which the first master watchmakers settled in Glashütte. Although many might see Switzerland as the homeland of watchmaking, there can be no doubt that German engineering is also synonymous with excellent quality; representing the epitome of extreme precision, reliability and stability. Glashütte Original 's range of timepieces comprise four collections: Senator, Pano, Vintage and Ladies and below we highlight three of our favourites (this writer's particular favourite being the retro-cool Seventies watch).
