Time for tennis: Wimbledon sponsor Rolex have the perfect watch for Centre Court
In 1956 the Rolex Day-Date 40 made its debut (the "40" being the size in millimetres of the dial). Available only in 18 ct gold or platinum, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial... and in this variation we think is perfect for Wimbledon's grassy glamour; a distinctive olive-green face.
