Gucci PreFall Campaign 2016

Shot in a glass-domed aviary the Gucci Pre-Fall 2016 campaign features wandering flamingos, wild plants and piles of old books. In the wild space, Glen Luchford captures the cast of carefree characters in the season's collection of bold colors, textures, florals and prints.

This week Gucci launched their new campaign for Pre-Fall 2016, once again shot by iconic photographer & film maker, Glen Luchford. Continuing the brands new faux-vintage look, crafted by the formidable Alessandra Michele, this campaign is plentiful of geek-chic & nature references - most notably, the flock of pink flamingoes parading throughout the set!

Located in a tropical aviary filled with exotic plants, the usual up-and-coming crowd of familiar faces model the brand's latest flora-fauna inspired designs; floral suits & dresses, jackets embroidered with butterflies & creepy crawlies, fur lined loafers emblazoned with snakes and the occasional fierce tiger motif on bags and pin badges. All of course with signature geeky details within the set & styling; models glance through oversized spectacles, lazing upon antique furniture & ornate rugs whilst flicking through vintage books. A romantic, tropical treat!
