Complex Time

Swiss luxury watch maker Vacheron Constantin has made a timepiece with a $10 million price tag and claims that it is the most complicated model ever made. The Reference 57260 took an astonishing eight years to make and utilized the workmanship of three specialists and 2,826individual parts. The company has described the watch thus: ”Combining

traditional watchmaking principles with the latest technological advances, the Reference 57260 watch is a wholly original creation with a total of 57 complications, some of which are unique, including multiple calendars and a double retrograde split-seconds chronograph.” Specially commissioned by a private collector, the Reference 57260 is truly one-of-a-kind.
