Brave New World: Part 3

STREET LUXE

Wylde's Beauty Director Terry Barber gives his edit of the key Fall 16 Beauty trends to know now.

With so many labels lifting elements from street style and using street castings alongside models there is big focus on the idea of “real” beauty. It’s that minimal correction, non-transformative beauty which is about tissue fine veils of product and knowing when to leave elements raw. It’s sporty, urban and effortless, with the upbeat optimism of a classic i-D cover or vintage Jil Sander campaign. Think about rubbed- in pink lips, a finger print of red blush for a weathered cheek, a remnant of black pencil in the lash line and a gelled up brow as all the accessories that you need. Pumped up natural, Nineties realness.
